She was comfortable with her life until her best friends moved. She had trouble
finding new friends so she tried to become popular by changing herself. She realized
this was uncomfortable and not worth so she changed back to herself and loves it!

Topic Sentence / In the essay, “Being Comfortable with Being ‘Weird’”, Naomi C Powell is telling
the reader to be true to who they are.Firstly, she felt uncomfortable when she tried
to be popular. Even when trying to be “cool”, she still played basketball with the
guys instead of chatting with the girls. In the end, she was much happier when she
decided not to try to be “cool”. Powell felt much more comfortable being who she
is.
