It's all about the fun when this band performs. From the Midwest to Key West, the Trop Rock Junkies have become known as one of the top Trop Rock bands in the country. Nominated by the Trop Rock Music Association for the 2016 Band of the Year, plus 4 Trop Rock Music Award nominations in 2012 and in 2013, and the 2014 winner (Steve Tolliver) for Songwriter of the Year. The band is known by Trop Rock fans nationwide for their high energy tropical themed rock, beach, surf, party favorites and three part harmonies. It has been said, "They put the rock in Trop Rock". Their mix of Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band and other favorite party covers plus their own acclaimed originals make for a festive, high energy show that pleases all ages.
The five/six-piece band has focused on playing larger festivals and events but is available for small venues and parties. Notable performances include Stars Fell On Alabama, Orange Beach, AL; Phins Gumbo Festival, Jacksonville, FL; Music On The Bay, Tampa, FL; Geckofest in Gulfport, Florida; Jimmy Buffett Concert (Stage B) in Tampa, FL; Ribfest in St. Petersburg, FL; Jimmy Buffett Tail Gate Party, Atlanta, GA, Fin Fest in Columbia, SC, Sarasota Bay Parrot Head Club Birthday Celebration, One Particular Harbor in Port Charlotte, FL and the Trop Rockin' 4th of July in Anderson, Indiana plus appearances at Pardi Gras in New Orleans, LA, Parrot Head Rendezvous in Panama City Beach, FL and appearances aboard Carnival and Norwegian Cruise Lines. Their CD's have seen sales throughout the U.S., Canada and Australia. They receive extensive airplay on Beachfront Radio, the Island Time Radio Show, WNY Shore Radio, Songwriters Island Radio and others.
