I. Treasurer’s Report:
Approved minutes from previous meeting
Approved Financial Report
Approved the five year forecast.
II. Personnel Items:
Certified:
Approved three additional days of un-paid maternity leave for Jennifer Clements, Frazeysburg fourth grade teacher, on October 7, 8, and 9. She will return on October 12.
Approved the maternity leave request of Elizabeth Braddock,
Adamsville third grade teacher, to begin on or about November 30, 2009,
excluding holidays, to continue approximately through January 21, 2010.
Two weeks of unpaid FMLA were also approved. Mrs. Braddock will
return to the classroom on or about February 4, 2010.
A maternity leave request was approved for Carolyn Hopkins, second
grade teacher at Nashport Elementary, to begin on November 23, 2009,
and continue for six weeks. An additional six weeks of FMLA was
Approved also. Mrs. Hopkins will return to the classroom on or about
March 1, 2010.
Classified:
The retirement request of Francis (Smiley) Smythe, head
mechanic for 24 years, was approved with the effective date of
December 31, 2009.
Rescinded the one year contract to Renee Worthington as secretary
at Frazeysburg Elementary due to existing continuing contract status.

Board and TVEA regarding contracted part-time speech position for
the 2009-10 school year.
A curriculum up-date was given by Jean Lahna, Curriculum Director.
