TRELCO TECHNICAL SERVICES w.l.l (T.T.S) is a wholly owned subsidiary of TRELCO LIMITED COMPANY (TLC) which was established in April 1975 as a private Qatari national trading and construction company.Qatar was thenembarking on a mass scale development program in the educational, cultural, social, agricultural, industrial, financial and health sectors . This entailed the construction and development of the infrastructure and services networks to cope with the rapid growth.
Under such circumstances, TLC has rapidly grown to become nowadays a diversity of bussiness concerns covering a wide range of interests,services and products in a creative manner to satisfy the needs and requirements of both the public and private sectors in Qatar.

The formation of the I.T division (T.T.S) within Trelco was part of its office automation strategic plan. the I.T division was established in 2003 with the partnership with leading US and Indiancompanies of I.T services and products.The tremendous success and the continued growth & response for of its I.T division led to the creation of Trelco Technical Services (T.T.S)as an independent affiliate ofTrelco group.
The objective of T.T.S is to offer a total solution to the requirements of the business offices of the state of Qatar by providing a wide spectrum of computer and communications products, their accessories along with software development & support, consultancy, site preparation,Professional services and maintenance.

Approaches to Development
T.T.S has two general approaches to global development that can be customized to fit each individual client's needs. The approaches vary by the level of involvement from resources in Qatar and India. Development Approach 1 allows clients to maintain much of the design and project management in the Qatar, while Development Approach 2 offers even more cost savings with much of the development and project management concentrated in India.
Development Approach 2
In this approach, the aim is to have a complete project environment out of India. The India team completes all major tasks, with the India-based project manager in constant touch with the client team using T.T.S's Technology Infrastructure. The project manager is initially onsite involved in broad level understanding of the application but carries out the project fully from India. T.T.S's Qatar Project Coordinator may be involved in initial interactions and in issues that require physical presence.
The advantage of this approach lies in the fact that the India Project Manager drives the project and functions as the client's Development Head in India. In addition to higher cost effectiveness due to its India base, this approach is client centered and ensures higher client involvement in the project.
