The Emerald Green Feeds products are grown on family run farm, A Poucher & Sons in rural Lincolnshire. A Poucher & Sons have been growing and harvesting forage based crops since 1945 and is now on the fifth generation of the family.
The grass and alfalfa used in Emerald Green Feeds is grown locally to our main farm yard in Lincolnshire, allowing complete control and daily management of the growth and harvesting cycle. The team work hard to ensure the best quality crops go into Emerald Green Feeds.

Classes: Entries are limited to riders who have qualified in the appropriate class at TREC GB qualifier events between 13th August 2017 to 5th August 2018and will only be eligible to compete as an individual if they have qualified as an individual. Pairs will only be eligible to compete with the same partner they qualified with. In the case of pairs, both riders must enter the class of the higher qualified rider for example: - Rider A is eligible for newcomer pairs class 2, and rider B is only eligible for class 6 open pairs - the pair must only enter at class 6.

POR route length 10-15km with a small amount of road work, PTV Obstacle height up to 70cms.

All riders must be a Red or BlueTREC GB member before close of entries.New members, who join as a Blue member between 1st July 2018 and 30th September 2018, will have their membership extended to 30th September 2019. These new members can upgrade to Red membership on or after the 1st October 2018 if they wish to, by paying the difference between the current Blue and Red membership fees.

Riders who wish compete in the Levels 2, 2a, 3 & 4 National Championships in September 2018are not eligible to ride in the Level 1 Championships. However, they can still ride in Class7 Veteran horse on a different horse.

Class 1 Level 1 Newcomer Individual–Open to all qualified riders who have not competed in a full Summer TREC competition (3 phase affiliated TGB or BHS) before 1st April 2017.

Class 2 Level 1 Newcomer Pairs -Open to all qualified riders who have not competed in a full Summer TREC competition (3 phase affiliated TGB or BHS) before 1st April 2017.

Class 3 Level 1 Intermediate Individual–Open to all qualified riders who have competed in TREC before 1st April 2017 but have NOT competed in a Championship at Level 2 or above.

Class 4Level 1 Intermediate Pairs –Open to all qualified riders who have competed in TREC before 1st April 2017 but have NOT competed in a Championship at Level 2 or above.

Class 5 Level 1 Open Individual –Open to all qualified riders who are not competing in the 2018 Championships at the Level 2 or above. (All previous TREC history is irrelevant)

Class 6Level 1 Open Pairs -Open to all qualified riders whoare not competing in the 2018 Championships at the Level 2 or above. (All previous TREC history is irrelevant).

Only classes 5 - 6 will carrypoints for the V-BandzLtd Summer League, kindly sponsored by V-Bandz Ltd and will count as qualifying classes for the 2019 Championships.

Riders who are under the age of 14 must ride in one of the pairs classes, with a pair who is over 18 on the day of the competition

Class 7 -Veteran Horse Championship.Horses must be born in or before the year 1998(20 years old) and must have completed at least one full three phase competition within the last 2 years. Please bring your horse passport with you; these must be available for examination.Individual class only.

Trophies will be awarded to the winner of each class, to be engraved and returned before the 2019 Championships. Rosettes will be presented 1st to 10th place in all classes.

  • Entry fees include corralling and camping fees plus drinks, fruit, and cereal bars for the Saturday (POR) Tickets for the meal and social event on the Saturday night are in addition.

Entry closing dates and refunds/withdrawals -Entries close on 31st July 2018.Riders who qualify at Fife and Ellerker can enter up to 7th August.Withdrawals up to 31st July will receive a full refund.Any refunds for withdrawals after the closing date will be entirely at the discretion of the organiser.

Team Competition -Teams of 4 riders any combination (A pair counts as 2 riders) Entries to be handed to the secretary by 8pm Friday night. Cost £20 per team. Late entries not accepted.

Camping and corralling -Overnight parking and corralling is available onFriday / Saturday nights at the venue. Cost is included in your entry fee. Please note that you must provide your own electric fencing and charger. If you wish to stay over Sunday evening, please inform the organisers on your entry form. If you leave site please make sure there are contact details on your corral and a nominated person to care for you horse in an emergency. We recommend your horse wears a headcollar with contact details whilst left in the corral.

Tents -Tents: there will be a separate area for pitching tents. No tents allowed in the corralling field.

Toilets -There will be portable toiletsin the corralling field.

Showers – There is a shower available for your use in the stable yard also a toilet. There will be an honesty box in the shower room for a small donation – please can we ask that this be used. Thank you.

Water provision -Water for horses is available on site.Competitors are advised to bring their own human water but we have been advised the tap in the field is also suitable for human consumption.

Farrier -A farrier will be on call for emergencies.All shoeing is to be paid for by the rider at the time. Please ensure your horse is well shod before arrival. It is advisable to bring a spare set of suitable shoes with you.

Vet -The local veterinary practice, Grace Lane Veterinary Surgery, will be on call in case of emergency. Their number will be in your competitor pack.

Competition Vetting - Will be carried out on Friday evening from 17.30 to 20.00 and on Sunday morning. Please note if you cannot make the vetting on Friday contact admin.

Catering–GB International Riders are catering over the weekend to raise funds towards travelling to Italy. There will be a variety of food available (inc vegetarian) so please support them.

If you’re travelling a long distance and don’t fancy preparing food then pre-order your meal and it will be ready and waiting when required. The cost for a main meal will be between £6-£8.

The Moors Inn, Appleton Le Moors (telephone 01751 417435)ask that if you require any food on theirpremises on Friday evening or over the weekend, please can you ring andbook direct with them in advance to avoid disappointment.
Not too far away are The Farmers Arms at Lastingham(telephone 01751 417247)- booking would alsobe required.

Friday Welcome Party hosted by White Horse TREC Group - Celebrating 15 years since the club was formed in 2003, WHTG would like to invite all championship riders, judges, helpers and supporters to join us for a glass of Pimms (non-alcoholic alternative available) between 7.00 and 8.00pm on Friday evening. Venue tbc.

Saturday Night Social from 7.30- There will be meal on site £11.00with a vegetarian option, and pudding, provided by The Moors Inn, Appleton Le Moor. Details on the entry form. If you have any further dietary needs please let admin know on your entry form.

Bespoke CommemorativeClothing - Polo shirts / sweatshirts may be purchased provided they are ordered in advance. These will have the TREC GB logo embroidered on the front and the names of all the competitors’ horses on the back. Orders will be taken on the TREC GB website, through the merchandise on the home page viaPayPal. Please note orders for the clothing will only be taken up to August 1st.

Dogs - are welcome, but must be under controlAND on a leadat all times. Any competitor found with a loose dog will be liable to pay a £30 fine to the air ambulance. Please pick up and dispose of dog waste.

Bed & Breakfast–The Moors Inn Appleton le Moors offer accommodation. The venue is not far from Pickering, Cropton, Kirkbymoorside – there is a lot of accommodation available in the area. Look up .

HEALTH AND SAFETY

The event manager/organiser will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the officials and stewards on the day.

First Aiders will be present at the event and should be summoned through an official in the event of an accident. Paramedics will be available on the Sunday. The event manager/organiser may provide contact telephone numbers for emergency veterinary and farriery services.

Competitors are asked to safeguard valuable tack and possessions. Young children must be supervised at all times. Neither the event manager/organiser nor the land/course owners can accept responsibility for loss or injury to persons or animals howsoever caused.

With respect to our landowners please leave everything tidy when you leave and take your own rubbish home with you. There will be a muck heap on site.

If the competitor is under 16 a parent or guardian must sign. A parental consent form must also be sent for any riders under 16. The form is available on the TREC GB website .
