Touring a Human Body System
Congratulations! You have been hired by the Cardiac Publishing House. It’s your first day on the job and here’s your first assignment:
Your job:
Our company has been hired by the Human Body Travel Bureau to produce an informative marketing product on a Tour through one of the Human Body Systems.
You along with your new team will be in charge of trying to sell one of these tours to the general public. Your team will need to decide how you will best reach your intended audience.
Things to consider:
Who are is your market audience?
- Is your tour dangerous? Is it only for those who seek adventure?
- Is your tour family friendly? Is it perfect for the whole family?
- Is your tour a perfect get away for a ladies or guys weekend?
How will you market your product?
- Poster
- Brochure
- Travel magazine
- Multimedia presentation such as a PowerPoint show
- Movie/Commercial
- Other creative ways to market your tour may be acceptable.
-Please check with your supervisor (aka your teacher) if you have an original idea.
Your assignment:
Your assignment is to market a tour through one of the human body systems in a creative way in which others will want to go on your tour. Make sure that you include all the information that is asked for the body system that you choose.
Please see the attached list of required topics for each body system and the rubric by which your work will be evaluated (Our company offers generous bonuses for a job well done, but is also noted for its high standards. Mrs. Hemoglobin is a VERY important client. Please pay careful attention to the requirements outlined in the evaluation rubric. They are your best guidelines for success in our company!)
REMEMBER:
THIS IS NOT TO BE A SIMPLE REPORT ON A SYSTEM. YOU ARE TRYING TO SELL A TOUR TO THIS SYSTEM. HAVE FUN & USE YOUR IMAGINATION!
