TRANSPORTATION OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

Paratransit, Inc. is now accepting applications for a full-time Transportation OperationsSupervisor to supervise the Dispatch Center and Driving Operations.

This position is considered safety-sensitive and subject to Paratransit, Inc.’s drug and alcohol testing program.

The minimum qualifications include, but are not limited to:

  • Clean DMV record
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience with elderly and/or disabled persons
  • Knowledge of Sacramento area and strong mapping skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • 1 year Supervisory experience

Desirable qualifications include, but are not limited to:

  • Two or more years of professional driving experience
  • Valid Class B California Driver License with Passenger Endorsement
  • Scheduling software experience, especially Trapeze
  • Computer experience with Word and Excel
  • Training experience

Typical Duties:

Supervise, direct, implement, coordinate, and organize various activities and functions related to Paratransit, Inc.’s Driving and Dispatch CenterOperations, including hiring, training, evaluation, and discipline. Supervise vehicle operators, dispatchers, and other technical support staff. Coordinate, prepare, and maintain operations-related records and reports as required. Conduct internal incident/accident investigations. Provide assistance and support functions to the Training Department including developing and implementing training programs, training in accordance with established methods and procedures, and providing staff support and assistance with classroom orientation. Provide support to the Dispatch Center on a regular basis.

Salary:

This is an exempt position with a bi-weekly salary of $1,600. This position includes a benefits package.
