Transport Information for Members Event 10th September, 2010
Buses from Central:
Near Central Station catch bus 483, 461 or 480: from Stand D on George Street to the corner of Parramatta Road and Crystal Street.
Walk south along Crystal Street for 700 metres and then turn right onto Trafalgar Street. Walk 200 metres down Trafalgar Street and then turn left onto Regent Street. Walking time is about 10-15 minutes. See map over the page.
Alternative to walking:
Take bus 444(from Balmain) from the corner of Norton Street Leichhardt and Parramatta Road. Get off on the corner of Trafalgar Street at Regent Street in Petersham. Walk 50 metres down Regent Street and Petersham RSL is on your left. See map over the page.
Train:(please note Petersham Station has stairs and is not wheelchair accessible):
Petersham Station is located 50 metres from the venue. Take the southern exit towards Trafalgar Street. Cross Trafalgar Street and go down Trafalgar Street until you reach the venue. See map over the page.
Parking:
There is parking available opposite the venue on Regent Street
As it will be a Friday evening, members are advised to arrive early to secure a spot. See map over the page.
At Petersham RSL:
The event will take place on Level 2 in the conference rooms. Enter the venue through the automatic doors. Continue straight ahead past the stairs for about 10 metres. The lift will be on your right. Take the lift to Level 2.
Once out of the lift, continue straight for a few metres and then turn left. There is a small seating area and the entrance to the conference room is on your right hand side. There will be signs directing you to the right room.
