Transfrontier Shipment of Waste (TFS) Regulations 2007
OOCL is actively participating in an industry forum in the UK to facilitate the introduction and practical management of the new EU Green List Regulations which came into effect on 12th July.
Whilst discussions continue shippers of scrap metal, waste paper or plastic and other products covered by the new rules are asked to confirm in writing, in the form of a Letter of Intent, their acceptance of OOCL’s waste product booking conditions

Letter of Intent
To : OOCL (Deutschland) GmbH
In relation to the following conditions of Booking Acceptance for Waste Product Shipments,falling within the scope of the Green List Regulations, (EC) No 1013/2006; we, the undersigned, hereby agree that:
1. We or our representative will correctly complete anAnnex VII form, and sign it in box 12
2. The Annex VII form will be made available at the load point so that the driver may sign Box 5 (a)
3. The driver will NOTbe asked to keep the original Annex VIIform
4. The completed original Annex VII form will be retainedby us or our representative and made available to OOCL or any other regulatory authority within 24 hours of request, in either hard copy or electronic format
5. An Annex VII form will be completed for every container loaded, not just every multi-container shipment as defined by the regulatory authorities
6. It will be our decision to place a copy Annex VII form inside each container, and there is no requirement from OOCL for us to do this
7. That no changes of Destination will be permitted
8. The products being shipped have been sold to a named party which will appear as Consignee on the OOCL Bill of Lading, and that no change of Consignee is permitted
9. The Chinese import licence will be made available to OOCL within a reasonable time frame upon request, in either hard copy or electronic format
10. Weagree to comply with all legal Regulations and/or requirements concerning the shipment of waste material
11. All freight charges will be settled on a Prepaid basis

12. In the event of legal action being taken against OOCL by any regulatory authority as a result of our error or omission we agree to indemnify OOCL for any resulting costs or fines incurred
