In continuation to this office circular memo dated 04.06.2012, all the Unit officers and the Superintending Engineers are requested to follow the following further instructions in preparation of the list of all the Engineers i.e., Assistant Engineers, Assistant Executive engineers and Deputy Executive Engineer proposed for transfers consequent on lifting of ban on transfers.

  1. Persons who are working continuously at a particular stationin all cadres as on 01.06.2012 shall be considered as continuous service.
  2. With reference to Para-xviii of the G.O., “STATION” means a person who worked continuously in that City/Town/Village in all the cadres in different offices and institutions continuously without any break shall be counted and shown in Column No.18 of the earlier proforma.
  3. If a person worked for some period in a STATION and proceed on long leave and again joined in the same STATION after expiry of the leave, the period prior to the leave shall be counted as continuous service including the leave period.
  4. If a persons promoted from the lower cadres and continuously working in the same STATION, the total continuous period shall be counted for the purpose of period of stay in the present promotion post and shall be indicated in column ‘18’ of the table(proforma) communicated earlier.
  5. Period worked on deputations shall not be counted when a person returning from deputations from Foreign Service as continuous service (deputation other than this department).

The unit officers shall follow the above instructions scrupulously and any Omissions / Deletions / Deviations and Suppression of Facts will be viewed seriously and stringent action will be initiated.

If there are any changes as per above guidelines in the lists already furnished, the same may be sent through official “e-mail” of Superintending Engineer on or before 15th June 2012.If no information is received, it will be construed that the earlier lists submitted by Unit Officers / Superintending Engineers are final. The long standing list of vacancies will be displayed in the website on16-06-2012.

The candidates figured in the long standing list shall exercise three options from the vacancies indicated in the website through official e-mail of Unit Officers / Superintending Engineers to this office e-mail -“” or direct to Sri N.Veera Pratap, DD(A) on or before 20-06-2012.

The Deputy Executive Engineers will not be posted to their native districts as per the G.O.Ms.No.146 Finance(DCM-III) Department, Dt.01-06-2012.
