Arrival at the airport and transfer to Megalochori.

Free time / Optional: 17:00-18:00 walk to see the Caldera sunset

Thursday February 23, 2017:

11:30-13:00Introduction to Greek Culture: painting lesson on the Caldera

19.30 Dinner at a Traditional Tavern with live music

Saturday February 25, 2017:

09:30-11:00Discussion with a local person on the tourism industry in a small island

11:30-13:00Evaluation of the course and reporting back to the sending organisation

15:00-16:00Farewell games / networking activities

Notes:

  1. The programme is subject to changes according to the weather and to the island’s cultural life
  2. Accommodation is in a six- bed 45 s.m. apartment (one room with two beds, one room with three beds and one bed at the living room). The apartment is being cleaned every 3 days.
  3. Breakfast and dinner is prepared and served by the participants at their house, under the guidelines and with the help of the HCC staff
  4. One member of the HCC will support participants from 09.00 – 18.00
  5. The two cars will be available for driving only until 18.00 max. Participants can take the local bus (1,80 euro) or a taxi (10 euro Megalochori-Fira) for reaching other villages after that time.
  6. Participants are recommended to have with them comfortable shoes, driving licence, student or trainer identity card

Visit to the Folk Museum of Fira

Walk in Emporio or in Pyrgos Traditional villages with castles

Walk in the Perissa black beach

Visit of churches in Firostefani and Imerovigli villages on top of the Caldera
