  • Educated to at least Diploma level or equivalent, in Theology

Experience:
  • Experience of developing individuals and churches in their discipleship journey

  • Experience of the United Reformed Church and its governance

  • Experience of working with and training adults.

  • Leadership experience.

Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of current training methods and techniques.

  • Knowledge the United Reformed Church

  • Knowledge of processes and requirements of EM1, 2 and 3

  • Knowledge of learning needs, and requirements for ordinands, ministers, congregations in differing settings

Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to identify and source development opportunities appropriate to an individual or church’s specific requirements

  • Ability to organise and facilitate events, courses, and workshops

  • Communication skills

  • Evidence of effective Time management

  • Use of information technology, social media and graphics for marketing and communications
