Please be advised, a special event series, theBMW DallasMarathon & Half Marathon, is scheduled to occuronSunday, Dec. 10 at 8:10 a.m. The main hub of activity will be in Downtown Dallas, but the route covers 26.2 miles through iconic neighborhoods including Victory Park, Uptown, Oak Lawn, Lower Greenville, Knox/Henderson, Lakewood, East Dallas, White Rock Lake, Old East Dallas, Baylor Hospital Area, and Deep Ellum. Victory Park:
East / Straight onto Lamar Street
North / Left onto Houston Street

Uptown:

North and South
- Access to Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas is available from the south: from R.L. Thornton (I-30) West, exit Ervay/Griffin Street to the convention center; From I-35E North, take exit 427D E to R. L. Thornton Freeway (I-30) and exit Griffin Street
- City Hall parking garage is accessible via DPD barricades at Akard Street and Canton Street with approved parking passes
Parking:
- Metered parking will be prohibited throughout the streets referenced above through Monday, Dec. 11 at 7 a.m.
- Pioneer Plaza parking lots are closed beginning Thursday, Dec. 7 at 4:30 a.m. through Monday, Dec. 11 at 7 a.m.
DART Information:
DART is available for runners and spectators at the start and finish line throughout the BMW Dallas Marathon ($5)
- From the north/northeast use the Red Line
- From the north use the Green Line
- From Irving use the Orange Line
- From the south use the Red, Blue, or Green Lines
DART Stations close to event venues:
- Convention Center Station
- Union Station
DART Stations close to marathon course for spectator viewing:
- Mockingbird Station (near mile 7)
- White Rock Station (near mile 14.5)
