PLAN COMMISSION
MINUTES OF THE JANUARY 14, 2014 MEETING
The Hebron Plan Commission meeting of January 14, 2014 was called to order by President Jennifer Mantai. In attendance were Steve Sibbrell, Pete Breuckman, Dave Peeler, Bob Clemons, Jennifer Mantai, Howard O’Connor, Alan Kirkpatrick, Randy Decker, Terri Waywood, Don Ensign, Attorney Theodore A. Fitzgerald and Executive Secretary Joanne E. Hansen.
Following the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, the following business was conducted.
Approval of Minutes - On motion of Steve Sibbrell, seconded by Dave Peeler and duly carried 7-0; the minutes from the November 11, 2013 meeting were approved as presented. The Commission did not meet in December, 2013 due to a lack of quorum.
New Business
Election of Officers – On motion of Jennifer Mantai, seconded by Dave Peeler and duly carried 7-0, Allan Kirkpatrick was elected President.
On motion of Dave Peeler, seconded by Steve Sibbrell and duly carried 7-0, Jennifer Mantai was elected Vice President.
On motion of Jennifer Mantai, seconded by Allan Kirkpatrick and duly carried 7-0, Pete Breuckman was elected Executive Secretary.
On motion of Jennifer Mantai, seconded by Howard O’Connor and duly carried 7-0, Joanne E. Hansen was elected Recording Secretary.
On motion of Pete Breuckman, seconded by Steve Sibbrell and duly carried 7-0, Theodore A. Fitzgerald and Petry, Fitzgerald & Less PC were elected attorneys.
The Commission welcomed Bob Clemons to the Commission as the new Building Inspector.
Town Council Don Ensign noted that there are parking issues at Park Place. This matter was referred to the Traffic Committee.
Terri Waywood asked for Commission direction on a problem with a property at Dogwood Apartments. She noted that the Landlord has failed to pay the water bill and that there are tenant landlord issues. Attorney Fitzgerald stated that the Commission could investigate the complaints under the Unsafe Building Ordinance.
There being no further business before the Commission, on motion of Pete Breuckman, seconded by Howard O’Connor and duly carried 7-0, the meeting was adjourned.
