1.  CORRESPONDENCE:

a.  Jon Hodos / NYSDOT Region 8 Re: Traffic Count Scheduled

2.  NEW EQUIPMENT: Took delivery of new 2016 F550 on August 4, 2015.

3.  RESOLUTION REQUESTS:

a.  Resolution to accept sole bid for highway garage roof replacement (labor only).

WHEREAS, the Chatham Town Board accepts the sole bid for highway garage roof replacement (labor only) from Phelps Brothers Roofing, 49 Mountain View Road, Nassau, NY 12123, and

THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Chatham Town Board accepts the sole bid for highway garage roof replacement (labor only) from Phelps Brothers Roofing, 49 Mountain View Road, Nassau, NY 12123, for the sum of $ 26,200.00.

b.  Rescind Resolution # 59-15

WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Highway has requested that the Town Board authorize the purchase of (One) 2015 Terrastar SFA 4x4 Cab Chassis from Navistar, Inc., and

THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Chatham Town Board accepts the Onondaga County Contract #7974 bid price per specifications for (One) 2015 Terrastar SFA 4x4 Cab Chassis from Navistar, Inc., 399 Albany Shaker Rd, Suite 202, Loudonville, NY for the sum of $64,750.55. VOTE AYES: DeGroodt, Swartz, Lull, Rohde NAYES: None Resolution adopted

c.  Resolution to purchase (one) new 2016 Terrastar SFA 4x4 Cab Chassis Truck.

WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Highway has requested that the Town Board authorize the purchase of (One) 2015 Terrastar SFA 4x4 Cab Chassis from Navistar, Inc., and

THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Chatham Town Board accepts the Onondaga County Contract #7974 bid price per specifications for (One) 2015 Terrastar SFA 4x4 Cab Chassis from Navistar, Inc., 399 Albany Shaker Rd, Suite 202, Loudonville, NY for the sum of $61,257.40.

4.  HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE:

a.  July 19, 2015 Storm. Sunday/Full crew. 5:30PM-11:30PM. Just over (300) trees and limbs were cleaned up in two weeks.

b.  Grading: Reed, Bashford, Brown, Engel, Haddock Hill, Waite, Ford, Seven Bridges,

Chase Hill Rd.

c.  Ditching: Thorne Rd, Bashford Rd.

d.  Mowing: Riders Mills, Reed, Bashford, Highland, Pitts, Albany Tpk, Hartigan Rd.

e.  Culvert Installation: Decker St.

f.  Clean pipes & ditches: Upper Cady, DeWitt Brown, Birge Hill, Haddock Hill, Engel,

Seven Bridges, Lower Cady, Chase Hill, Waite Rd.

g.  Roof Project: Removed shingles from backside of hwy garage roof. Replacement of roof is scheduled for August 24, 2015.

h.  Chipping: Thomas, Daley, Shaker, Hunt Club, Howes, Thorne, Bashford, Brown, Sutherland, Jefferson Hill, Reed, Pitts, Sullivan, Goold, Lovers Lane, Phelps Rd.

i.  Shared Services: Chip seal with Town of Canaan and Town of Austerlitz.
