TOPIC: BAEH Youth Leadership Conference

Attention all students: The Ellison High School Leadership Academy and Killeen ISD are hosting the 10th Annual BAEH Youth Leadership Conference on December 14 at the Killeen Civic & Conference Center. The cost is $25 and includes lunch from Jason’s Deli, t-shirt, a keynote address by Keith Hawkins of Real Inspiration, leadership “games”, and more! Please stop by the front office to pick up an application—slots are limited—and your registration must be received by November 30.

TOPIC: Bowling Bake Sale

TheEVHS Bowling Team will be having a Bake Sale this Wednesday through Friday after school. You will find them outsidethe cafeteria.

TOPIC: Health Science

Health Science Students who have previously taken the Principles of Health Science Class and are interested in taking next year'sHealth Science Practicum Class that rotates through hospital and clinicdepartmentsplease stop by room 321 and talk with Mrs. Killen. There is a mandatory meeting scheduled for Dec. 6th for those interestedstudents. The student's parent or guardian must be in attendance as well.

TOPIC: EVHS Softball

Our MANDATORY Parent & Student Athlete meeting will be on Tuesday, December 4th at6:30PM in the East View High School Lecture Hall. In order to participate in the upcoming 2013 season, you must attend this meeting or have made prior arrangements with Coach Roberts. There will also be a short Softball Booster Club Meeting to follow.

TOPIC: East View Boys Basketball

East View Boys Basketball has gotten off to a strong start to begin the season. Varsity currently has a record of 3-3, with wins against San Antonio Hawkins, Dallas Skyline, and5A Round Rock High School. Over the Thanksgiving Holiday these young men competed in the very competitive Jack Frost Tournament, the Patriots had asolidshowing going 2-2 with Garrett Langreceiving ALL-Tournament honors. The Freshmen Red Teamcurrently has a 4-2 record with wins against Leander, San Antonio Hawkins, Temple, and Round Rock Westwood. Pleasecongratulate thesestudent-athletes on a very strong start to the young season. We will be playing our 1st home game Tuesday Nov. 27vs Salado. Game times are JV & Freshmen Red @ 5:30, Varsity and Freshmen Navy @ 7:00. Please come out and help us get our 1st home win.

TOPIC: East View Archery Team: There will be no after school practice this week. We will only have practice before school on Wednesday morning and Friday morning.

TOPIC: Lady Patriot Basketball

The Lady Patriot basketball team won their 5th game of the season last night by a 46-30 score over Llano. Every player contributed in a hard fought win. Abby Holland was the game high scorer with 23 points and also recorded 6 steals. Rachel Williams led the rebounding effort.

The JV team also won with Kaitlyn Dunlap, Keisha Walker, and Kaylee Oswald sharing the scoring honors.

Topic: Diamond Queens

There will be a mandatory Diamond Queens meeting on Friday morning at 8:15 in the library computer lab.
