Top of the Line Simultaneous ICP-OES with Following Specs: A) Echelle Based Polychromator

Purchase of new ICP-OES under buy back of existing old - Axial ICP-OES 'VARIAN' Make Model # LIBERTY Series-II

Bench-Top simultaneous Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometers (ICP-OES), axial configuration with the following specifications:

(a) The system should be capable of analyzing trace, minor and major elements in a sample with a single view and single measurement with full PC control of instrument settings and compatible accessories, (b) The instrument must have an Echelle-based polychomator with a focal length of 400 mm or more that utilizes a single Charge Coupled Device (CCD) detector with over one million pixels to ensure extreme low noise and dark current. The resolution of the system must be less than 0.009 nm at ~200 nm. The entire optical system must be enclosed in a purged and thermostated optical enclosure. The instrument must view the torch axially and the torch must be of a single-piece design. Viewing of the plasma must be computer controlled.

(c) The instrument must be able to perform determinations across the entire spectrum, both UV and visible. The system must have the ability to view at least 95% of the emission spectra between 177 and 785nm.

d) air-cooled RF generator with solid-state HV power supply (e) The instrument must include a cyclonic spray chamber and a low flow concentric nebulizer. It should be offered with Inert, HF resistant sample introduction kit as well. The system must include a three channel, variable speed, computer controlled peristaltic pump which allows for on-line addition of internal standards. Sample Preparation System (auto sampler) with atleast 60 tubes of 12ml capacity or more should be also quoted.

(f) Signal should be stable to less than 1% RSD over 8 hours without internal standardization or any form of drift correction. Plasma and auxiliary gas flows must be computer controlled. The nebulizer argon gas flow must be provided with Mass Flow Controller.

(g)User friendly operating software: The software must be able to display calibration curves for all of the elements analyzed simultaneously. The instrument must be able to read both background and emission data simultaneously and allow for manual or automatic background correction.

(h) Three years warranty and all spares and consumables should be available for atleast 10 years (i) Spare kit including routine consumables such as torch, nebulizer, tubings, o-rings, air/moisture filters etc (j) Proven service back-up guarantee with highly-skilled experts is a must and a guarantee for less than 20% down-time to be provided considering an expert user.

(k) The instrument supply must include a water re-circulator that is separate from the instrument chassis.

(l) ICP-OES Wavecal conc 500mL and multi-element (23 elements) calibration standard also should be provided.
