Top Active Prospects– Things are moving well with these

  • Long Island Association – HR and CFO want change; waiting for CEO to sign-off
  • Houston –HR and CFO want change; waiting for new CEO to get settled before talking change
  • Lexington – met with new CFO to bring up-to-date at request of CEO; both want change, but navigating political waters is challenging
  • Richmond – responded to RFP follow-up questions; no word on decision ETA
  • San Antonio – gone quiet
  • Albany-Colonie – review complete; made proposal; awaiting decision (chamber warned that internal volume will slow things down); gone quiet since fall
  • Salt Lake City - review complete; made proposal; next step is full RFP
  • Ft Wayne– agreed to review; awaiting plan materials
  • OKC - agreed to review; awaiting plan materials
  • Business Council of NY – agreed to review; awaiting plan materials
  • South Shore Chamber – agreed to review; awaiting plan materials

Gone quiet – Not necessarily dead, but little interaction from chamber

  • West Palm Beach – had face-to-face with CEO who was impressed by value, but is swamped currently and indicated it could be sometime before he would have a chance to focus
  • AWB – revisited in Jan; pending changes at Exec level likely to minimize change this year, but will revisit later

Dead for Now

  • Mountainview, CA – phone consult; proposal emailed; budget not approved so will revisit in a year
  • San Rafael – gone dead; assume budget was not approved
  • Bolingbrook – gone dead; assume budget was not approved

  • San Antonio – see above
  • Greater Oklahoma City – see above

  • Houston – see above
  • Denver – have 457b plan; still trying to get 401k review materials from them, did drive by visit in February, 2011 and they said they would allow 401k review when they had time (local broker will be an obstacle; COO left so need to go visit in 2013 and meet new COO)
  • MMAC –Tim has stated he will not move from M&I; began relationship with CFO in April; will continue to build relationship as consulting resource for them and see where things stand after DB plan is frozen
  • Philadelphia – met Rob in Dallas at Metro meeting; Visited with Benefits VP in spring; they have a plan with their members so getting review will be tough; will stay in contact with Benefits VP to build relationship and see how we can leverage experiences
  • Charlotte – visited Bob in fall; they are very tied in with Wells Fargo; getting review will be tough and Bob implied they would never leave local vendor
  • Buffalo – hoping for visit in spring when I go up to do plan consult with Binghamton
  • Kansas City – missed opportunity in winterand again in spring; trying to get back to the area for multiple meetings this summer
  • Cincinnati – talked to Ellen in Louisville, but still don’t have good read on her yet. Will wait until visiting her area before bringing up comparison idea given previous history.
