Managementwill payby check following performance(s) coveredbythiscontract.Performancestakeplacerainorshine. Intheeventthatweather conditionsprevent theperformer(s)from safely presentingtheirshow,analternateprogram mustbesubstitutedorManagementwill adjustthe performerfee accordingly.In some extreme situations,Managementmay choose toclose the eventforsafetyreasons,makingthat day'sperforming contractnull andvoidunlessotherwisespecifiedhere:

Drugs/Alcohol - Performersagreeto not use illegal drugs OR to consume alcohol prior to the beginningof theFestival Day untilafter Closing.
Performersrecognize that Tommy O's NorthwoodsRenaissanceFestivalisconsidereda "Family FriendlyEvent".Performers will refrain from swearing and/or sexuallyexplicitlanguage both during their shows andin street theatersituations.Lewd innuendois acceptable,butplease check with Managementshould you have any questions regardingthis.
Limits of Liability:TheTommyO'sNorthwoodsRenaissance Festival, the Festival Management, and the Festival host site(Tommy O’s Playhouse) are notresponsibleforany lossor damageto itemsleft overnight.In considerationofthePerformerbeing allowed to participatein the Tommy O's NorthwoodsRenaissance Festival, thePerformerherebytakes action for it/him/herself, executors,administrators, heirs,next of kin, successors andassignsas follows:Performeragreesto hold theTommyO'sNorthwoodsRenaissance Festival,Festival Management, and the Festivalhost site(TommyO’sPlayhouse),harmless in the eventofaccident, injury, or damageto property orindividuals. Performerwaives,releases, anddischarges theTommy O's NorthwoodsRenaissanceFestival, FestivalManagement, andthe Festivalhost site(Tommy O’s Playhouse),their staff,volunteers, agentsand representativesfrom anyand all liability for death,personalor property injuryordamage,disability,theftor actionsof any kindwhichmayhereafteraccrue to Performerduringparticipationin or during travel to andfrom theFestival.
Indemnification: Performer(s) furtheragrees to indemnify and hold harmless theentitiesor personsmentioned inthe previousparagraph from any and all liabilitiesor claimsmade by otherindividualsor entitiesas the resultof any action ofthePerformeror their employees during the Festival.
ViolationsofthisAgreement:TheTommyO'sNorthwoodsRenaissance Festivalreserves therightto remove or denyfutureparticipationinthe Tommy O's NorthwoodsRenaissance Festivalto anyPerformer or otherparticipant who willfully violatesthis agreementor any local, state, or federal law,harasses participantsorvisitors,orotherwisedisrupts event.

- YouMUST wearanappropriate costume (garb/regalia)duringFestival operationhoursof10:00 AM to 6:00PM.Costumesshouldbeof a style that is reminiscentofanycultureorpeoples oftheselectedtime period,Medieval AD1100 -RenaissanceAD 1600.Contactusin advance ifyouneedhelpwiththis.
- NO DRINKINGOF ALCOHOLICBEVERAGESofANYkind during Festival operation hours.
- NO SMOKINGofANY kindonfestival groundsduring Festival operation hours, except in designated areas out-of-sight of patrons.
- NOsellingof drugparaphernalia or offensive occultitems.
- NO watchesorother21stcenturyitemsondisplay.Cell phones must behidden,keptin silentor vibratemodeandusedonlyforsalesoremergency purposes.
- NOgenerators arepermittedonFestival grounds during operating hours oftheFestival.
- Allvehiclesmust beofftheFestivalgrounds by 9:00 AMonallmornings oftheFestival.Thereisa parking lot designatedforvendorparkingwithin a short walking distanceofthevendingareawhereyou mayparktrailers,cars,trucks andmotorhomes(RVs)during theFestival.
- NODOGS ontheFestivalgrounds.Youmust have aService Dog permitorlicenseto havea dog present.
- Performers maybegin setting upbooths on Thursday,September 14thafter10:00 AMandmust becompletelyset up andreadyto openby9:00AM onFriday,September 15th. Performers setting up must beoff-sitebyMidnighton Thursday andcanreturn at7:00am on Friday.Contact Festival management for exceptions.
- Managementisnot responsibleforloss ordamageso ifyou areconcerned,pleaseremoveorsecureanyitemsleft on the grounds during thenight.Therewillbeon-site security duringoff-hours forallthreedays oftheFestival, but youarestillresponsibleforthesecurityofyour items.
- OnSundayafternoon,thefinal dayoftheFestival,allparticipantsmust bepackedandoff-siteby8:00PMwiththeexceptionofpre-approvedentertainersvendorencampments.
- Nearbyoff-sitecamping is availableandlaundromatsarenearby.There isno provisionforon-sitetent camping unless previously arranged.
- Salesofweapons(knives,axes,swords)must be in accordancewithWisconsin law.Entertainers and vendorsareresponsibleforobtainingallrequiredpermits andlicenses.
- Thecarrying ofweaponsontheFestival grounds must be in accordancewithWisconsin concealed weaponslaw. Allweaponsmust besheathedandpeace-tied.
- Performers arelimitedto merchandising oftheitemstheyhavebeenapprovedto sell.
- Performers selling merchandise areresponsiblefortheirown salestaxes,accordingto thelaws ofOneidaCountyandtheStateofWisconsin.
- Noone,includingentertainers and vendors, is permitted on the groundswithout security between 8:00 PMand 6:00 AM on anydayoftheFestivalexcept onThursdaynightwhen boothsites and stages will beaccessibleuntil Midnightforsetup.Thevending areaispatrolled andanyvendor or entertainer wishingto visithis boothsite or stage areaafter 8:00PMmust beaccompaniedbysecurity.
