INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS:

Please complete Section A and then submit the form to the Research Hub along with an updated CV. The Research Hub will liaise with the Head of School (HoS) to have SectionB completed. The Research Hub will submityour application to the Dean of Graduate Research on your behalf for consideration.

Please note that for each school/institute you wish to be registered with, you will need to complete a separate form with approval from the HoS from that school

You must meet the following eligibility requirements to be entered on the supervision register:
  • you are an academic staff member or have an honorary, adjunct, clinical or university associate appointment at University of Tasmania with a minimum 12-month appointment;
  • you have a Higher Degree by Research at the level or higher at which you wish to supervise or equivalent; and
  • you are research active; and
  • you have, or intend to, participated inprofessional development activities pertaining to supervisory practice.
Where the eligibility requirements are not met, a case for equivalence should be attached to this application.
