South Yorkshire County Netball Pre Screening and Screening Information

Under 13 Performance Academy 2017/18

South Yorkshire County Netball has madeexciting changes tothis season’s programme to ensure wedelivera Performance Pathway in line with Yorkshire Netball.

Aim of the Pathway

Our aim at South Yorkshire Netball is to develop the full netball potential of the talented players who are successful in joining our programme, through the experience of our coaching team and the dedication and hard work of players. In each of the three County Squads there will be girls with both one and two years in that age group squad and we will take this into consideration during the screening process. This is to ensure the correct succession of talented netball players in South Yorkshire. We aim, when we assess they are ready, to be successful at guiding talented players through to the next level of the England Netball Performance Pathway. Our aim for players who leave the programme, following completion of their time as U17 players, is that they either move higher up the Performance Pathway or, return to clubs and schools as confident, skilled and experienced players.
