Type of Job: / 80% Field visits with 20% reporting and documentations
Job Brief
The Field Monitoring Officer will be responsible to check and report, program is functioning according to standard operating policy , Field Monitoring Officer will be responsible to find program gaps and share with concern concern supervisor ,
S/he will conduct on-site visit and spot check to ensure project implementation and sustainability, S/he will alsocheck learning centres are opening and closing on time and maximum attendance at learning centres, Field monitoring officer will also checkvillage education committee is functioning properly.
They will be expected to conduct sample based assessment to check learning performance of students, S/he will also check learning environment at learning centre.
Field Monitoring Officer will also check facilitator performance and if s/he is properly following SABAQ lesson plan as well as ensuring maximum usage of tablets. The job will require daily visits to learning centres. The positions are based in each NRSP district office. They will report back to the Implementation Manager.
About SABAQ
SABAQ is a 3 year DFID funded digital education project. The project creates and implements tablet based educational content for primary grades. The project is targeting both in-school and out of school children, and is currently operating within Sindh and Punjab.
Major Responsibilities
Field Duties
  • To conduct field monitoring visits by following weekly action plan
  • To submit fortnight and monthly program progress report
  • To check proper usage of tablets at learning centres
  • To check VEC is functioning according to criteria
  • To check field visit is properly done at per criteria
  • To make sure other SABAQ staff members are visiting field accordingly to plan
  • To make sure learning centres are running smoothly and according to set criteria
  • To participate in VEC/teachers parent meeting
  • To assess student to check students’ performance
  • To check learning centres condition and learning environment

Prerequisites & Competencies
Qualification / Required Skills / Years of Experience
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree.
B. Ed. Preferred. /

  • Report writing skills
/ 2+ years of teaching experience in relevant field including significant work experience within the Sindh region.
