The St. Mark Highlands Ranch Council 1498 will host Major Degrees on October 12, 2013 in the lower level of our church building located at 9905 Foothills Canyon Blvd, Highlands Ranch CO 80129. Councils are invited to bring 1st and 2nd Degree Knights in your council for the conferring of these degrees.
The schedule for the day will be adhered to as posted in order to celebrate Holy Mass at 4:00 PM.

Candidates should never attend a degree alone. Please assure that sponsor, Grand Knight, or Membership Director accompanies them. All candidates and other attendees will have their membership cards inspected. Current membership cards with the proper degree noted must be in the possession of every member who enters the chamber. Pagers and cell phones are not allowed in the chamber during the degree. Please leave them in your vehicle.
The celebration of Mass and the Banquet are essential parts of the Exemplification. All candidates are expected to participate in the full day of events
Please notify me as the hosting Grand Knight or our Membership Director if any candidate or other attendee has special needs, a disability or illness that requires accommodation. New membership cards and certificates of participation are the responsibility of the member’s council and will not be issued by the degree team.

Registration is required for candidates, sponsors, guests, and observers/sponsors . An accurate number of attendees and participating guests is needed for planning. Please complete the enclosed registration form and submit it to the host council by October 4, 2013 via e-mail or USPS mail. Each candidate will be assessed a $20 fee (which includes the dinner). Dinner tickets are $20 per person (under age 12 free). Late registrations will be accepted but will have a $5 surcharge applied. Please make checks payable to KofC Council 1498.
Candidates that have previously received their 2nd Degree must register separately for the 3rd degree and are encouraged to attend the 2nd Degree as an observer.
