The Mansfield Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors would like to thank our 2017 members for their support of our organization throughout the past year. Member dues allow us to provide community events such as the Mansfield Heritage Weekend, July Independence Celebration, Halloween Trunk or Treat, YHEC, Mansfield Sister Cities, and Home for the Holidays. Membership renewals, as well as new member applications, in 2018 will allow us to continue to improve and hold these successful events.
The Chamber staffhad a busy summer as we revitalized 2 events this year, and added more of a local focus on both the Heritage Weekend and the Independence Day Celebration. 2018 proves to be an exciting one as we gear up for the NRA YHEC event which is a bi-annual event that we will continue to host until at least 2020, this event draws in over 400 youth and their family members and hundreds of volunteers.
The staff familiarized themselves with our members by updating the website. The content management system has allowed us to have more control over the information on the site and add member events more quickly and easily. By becoming a member in 2018, your business will receive free increased exposure and visibility through our website which receives an average of 3,500 hits a month.
In 2017, the Mansfield Chamber of Commerce added even more benefits for our members these were Chamber Bucks and more retail focus. If you are interested in accepting Chamber Bucks please contact the office to have you business promoted with our next printing. Some of our more popular benefits Mixers, networking opportunities, and educational speakers at our monthly meetings, as well as coffee talk on Friday mornings. All members are invited to attend our meetings held the second Tuesday of each month at the Mansfield Borough Boardroom and to participate in any of our event committees.
Your membership is vital to our success and allows us to accomplish the many important Chamber services and community events! Enclosed, please find a 2018 application and dues structure for you to complete and return to the Chamber Office by January 31st. Timely membership renewal will ensure your business’ heightened exposure on our website and at member functions.
The Board hopes that your business invests in the Mansfield Chamber of Commerce to promote the “Crossroads of the Northern Tier”.
