Salary £14,862 (subject to an increase of 2% every January until 31st December 2019)

JOB SUMMARY
To provide administrative support to the Selnet Team in delivery of Building Better Opportunities Projects for Lancashire. The Building Better Opportunities projects for Lancashire are to support those most at risk of exclusion from the labour market and identify, reduce and/or remove barriers to engagement and employment for eligible participants.
The post will be based at - Unit F28, Preston Technology Centre, Marsh Lane, Preston, PR1 8UQ
Organisational Relationships:
a) / Reports to: / Partnership ManagerThe Partnership Manager reports to the CEO who is accountable to Selnet Chair, its Board of Directors and Members
All tasks and duties in the job description must be carried out in accordance with Selnet procedures, the post holder should be fully aware of Selnet policy documents and operate within the parameters defined within these.
MAIN DUTIES TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Undertake administrative duties as required in support of the BBO projectteam.
Use a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc., to produce correspondence, documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases.
Assist the team to collate data. Photocopy and print various documentsthat may include sensitive and confidential information.
Organise and store paperwork and computer-based information safely and in accordance with funder guidelines.
Manage incoming mail to your email address and collect and distribute information as necessary.
Answer the telephone in a professional manner, directing the caller and/or taking messages for colleagues where necessary as well as deflecting nuisance calls.
Meet and greet of all visitors, offering drinks and making them feel welcome.
Devisingand maintaining administrative systems i.e. mail in and out and petty cash.
Assist the BBO team in planning events and partnership meetings i.e. book rooms, meeting facilities, refreshments etc.
Maintain stationery stocks and equipment supplies.
Attend meetings, taking minutes and keep/file meeting notes.
General office housekeeping.
Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility.
Work alongside team members to further the objectives of Selnet Ltd.
Deal professionally and proficiently with enquiries from colleagues, business contacts, visitors and members of the public.
Assist with all general office duties as and when required.
GENERAL CONDUCT
The post holder will be expected to maintain professional conduct and appearance. The post holder may be required to sign an agreement of confidentiality in relation to some aspects of the enterprise. All staff are expected to conform to the policies and procedures in respect of employment, health and safety and risk management and acknowledge they have read and understood them. Staff are also expected to be familiar with the business and operational plan and to support the aims of the company. In line with good practice appraisals are carried out reviewing performance and considering continuing professional development.
