We are looking to bring another person onto our team of rope access window cleaners. You must be comfortable with heights. Rope access experience or window cleaning experience are considered a strong asset for applicants.

Job purpose
To carry out the cleaning of windows on high rise buildings in safe and efficient manner.
Duties and responsibilities
· Cleaning windows, frames and wiping up any drips, foot prints, or other mess caused by the cleaning of windows
· Maintain and inspecting your own rope access gear (harness, carabiners, ropes, back up device, descenders)
· Rigging ropes following Irata or Sprat approved techniques
· Participating in daily safety discussions to identify hazards of the job
· Checking other workers harness, rigging and work sites to ensure a safe working environment (buddy checks)
Qualifications
Applicants must be over the age of 18 years old, and must have graduated from high school or hold a GED. Experience in rope access or window cleaning is an asset but not a mandatory requirement.
Working conditions
Our work typically runs from mid-February to late December. Occasionally we work in January but not always. We work as a small team of 3-6 people or sometimes split up into two smaller teams of 2 and 4, or 3 and 3. Most of our work takes place outside and takes place regardless of the weather, exceptions being made for high winds, and extreme cold. Most of our work takes place on the exterior of high rise buildings while sitting in a harness suspended from two ropes.
Physical requirements
All candidates will be expected to carry work gear onto and off of job sites, and carry and rig their own ropes. Sometimes this will involve climbing ladders and stairs while carrying ropes, and buckets of water. This job is physically challenging and an above average degree of fitness is required.
