·  PROJECTS & PRESENTATIONS:

ü  Project on “PIEZO-ELECTRIC ENERGY HARVESTOR”.

The “PIEZO-ELECTRIC ENERGY HARVESTOR” harnesses mechanical energy and converts it into electrical energy which can be stored and used for various purposes(eg. Charging of electronic devices).The circuit can be wired under tiles, in railway platforms, which can lead to energy conservation on a large scale.

ü  Group Presentation on “Attitude and Behavioural Pattern of Modern generation” in the subject of Business Communication and Ethics.

The presentation highlighted the various factors responsible for changes in the attitude of “Gen-Y” and thus provided a brief analysis of the behavioral pattern of modern generation

.

·  WORKSHOPS & SEMINAR:

ü  Workshop on “Haptics Roboarm”.

This workshop, organized by Department of Energy Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Bombay co-sponsored by ARK Techno solutions, aimed at introducing Haptics (gesture controlled mechanism) used in modern robotics.

The workshop included construction of a fully operational Haptic Roboarm that could be controlled by human hand where the movements were managed by Potentiometers(variable resistors) and DC motors.

ü  Seminar on “Waveguides and Antenna”.

The seminar, conducted by Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering & Research (SAMEER), provided a research study for selecting and approving the right quality of Grains(rice).

The seminar highlighted the various microwave techniques that are implemented today to obtain the best quality grains for export thus boosting the country’s economy.

·  CERTIFICATIONS:

ü  Certified Course on “Converged Communications”.

The course, held at the Centre for Excellence in Telecom Technology and Management (CETTM) organized by Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited(MTNL),provided a foundation knowledge of existing PSTN networks and other communication techniques and tools prevalent in the country. Practical demonstrations of existing network channels formed the complete base of the course.

·  CURRICULAR / CO-CURRICULAR /EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:

ü  Worked as part of the Publicity Team for technical event ICARUS.

ü  Participated in group dance intra-college event during college festival ZODIAC.

ü  Participated, conceptualized, acted in a group Act spreading awareness about Corruption and other malpractices in India named as “NEWS OF THE DECADE”.

·  AWARS AND ACHIEVEMENTS:

ü  Meritorious performance in Maharashtra Talent Search Examination conducted at State Level for 7th ,8th and 9th grade respectively.

ü  Awarded “High on Life” certification at the Values for Life Contest conducted by Women’s Commission, Archdiocese Bombay.

ü  Awarded Certificate of Honor as Young Environmentalist for active participation in Nazarene Paryavaran Parivarthan Prayas(NPPP) affiliated EC EDUCTION COMMUNITY(BHOMI VIDYA SAMAJ).
