CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: COMMUNITY JUSTICE DIVISION EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
On behalf of all members of the Community Justice Division, I would like to express our appreciation toDivision Co-Chairs,Anthony (Tony) Corso, FamilyReEntry andDavid Stevenson, FHM Services, Inc., as well as all members of the CJ Division Executive Committee, for theirongoing commitment. The Executive Committee has effectively served in conjunction with the Co-Chairs, to strengthen the vision and voice of the membership.
CALL FOR NOMINEES! We are currently in the process of developing a ballot of qualified nominees to serve on the Executive Committee. We consistently seek a balance of representation from both DOC and CSSD funded providers, as well as large and smaller organizations.
At this time, there areSIX available positions!
Structure of the Executive Committee:
Three representatives: Primarily DOC funded, both large and smaller agencies
Three representatives: Primarily CSSD funded, both large and smaller agencies
CJ Committee Co-Chairs: Representing DOC and CSSD funded providers

Expectations - Responsibilities of Committee Members:
Term of Service: 3 Years. Members of the Executive Committee will serve in conjunction with the Division Co-Chairs, and Julia Wilcox, CT Nonprofits, to develop the direction, scope and priorities of the Community Justice Division. Concepts and recommendations developed within the Executive Committee, will serve as direction for the CJ Division at large. Committee members may be called upon to represent the Division at meetings with State Officials and/or Legislators, and receive priority (the right of first-refusal), related to any opportunities to represent the division - committee activities, etc. Meetings will take place immediately prior to CJ Division Meetings, and/or on an as-needed basis.
