While students are graded on their academic achievement, students and parents also receive feedback on classroom behaviors and responsibility. These behaviors are not graded, but we believe that constructive feedback should be given. This feedback is called our Learner Profile. Help is available with Mr. Sackschewsky after school by appointment. For extra help on GLE assignments, remediation checklist must be completed prior to setting appointment time.

Student Expectations for this Course:Students will participate fully during class and ask questions when they are unsure of something. They will work cooperatively with their classmates. / Characteristics of Successful Students in this Course:
Students in this course attend school regularly and contribute to the class. They take good notes, ask questions, and help their peers. Successful students also set personal goals to keep a focus on improvement.
Teacher Expectations for this Course:
I will be available for you both during class and outside of class when you have questions. I will push you to do the very best that you can do. I will provide feedback to you in a timely manner and help you to reach your goals. / Remediation Statement:
All students are eligible for remediation on Common Assessment tests and GLE’s on an individual basis.
Common Assessment Remediation:
Students must initiate remediation by correcting a test and presenting it to their instructor before re-taking an alternate form of the test. Remediation must be done within 2 weeks of the original test. Common Assessment quizzes are not eligible for remediation.
GLE Remediation:
Students must initiate remediation by completing a Remediation Checklist before meeting with their instructor. These forms can be obtained in the music room.
