Re:Auditions

Dear 5th grade students and families,

We are excited that you are interested in auditioning for Rhapsody, the advanced grade 6th grade choir, at Lake Forest. This auditioned group is under the direction of Joshua Wenger and Jeremiah Pritchard. They perform traditional choir music as well a show choir style within the year.

This past year Rhapsody had the opportunity to singing on the radio, travel and perform at LFMS feeder elementary schools and perform in multiple concerts. Rhapsody will also be going on a Chattanooga field trip before the end of this year to sing in a choir festival, go to the aquarium, and sing the National Anthem at a Lookouts game. Next year, we hope to have a similar schedule. It is also important to know Rhapsody does have a cost; we aim to keep the total cost for the year under or around $100. This cost includes a t-shirt and multiple field trips throughout the year.

At the end of their 6th grade year, these students will be greatly encouraged to audition for Men’s Chorus, Girls’ Choir, or Revolution.

The auditions will be held April 17 – April 25 with the schedule for each school listed below. Mr. Wenger will be coming to each of Lake Forest’s feeder elementary schools during these times.
