The regulatory body shall establish and maintain a means for receivinginformation from other States and from authorized parties, as well as ameans for making available to others lessons learned from operatingexperience and regulatory experience. Especially, establishing means to liaise directly with regulatory bodies of other States and with international organizations is essential. The regulatory body shall requireappropriate corrective actions to be carried out to prevent the recurrence ofsafety significant events. This process involves acquisition of the necessaryinformation and its analysis to facilitate the effective utilization ofinternational networks for learning from operating experience and regulatoryexperience. / Keep consistency with newly added 2.8(f).
2.8 To be effectively independent from undue influences on its decisionmaking, the regulatory body:
(f) shall be able to liaise directly with regulatory bodies of other Statesand with international organizations to promote co-operation and theexchange of regulatory related information and experience.
