Spring Show Performance
Date:April 8th
Time:6:37 pm “Spotlight”; 7:00pm Show time
Where:Main competition gym
Tickets:$8 pre-sale; $10 at the door
Roll Call:5:12pm Main Gym
Dismissal:After clean up and signing out after the show
Midnight:Black leotard, black jazz shorts (spanx), black jazz shoes, skin tone tights. (no panels showing if you wear panty hose.
This is a required grade. Failure to show up will result in zeroes.
***All classes will need to meet for roll call in the gym at 5:12pm. NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK (except water) will be allowed. It will be taken up and thrown away. So eat before you come or eat outside the doors before 5:12.
What to wear to roll call:Have on your class shirt over your midnight. If you have lost your class shirt you must have on a short sleeve ALL BLACK t-shirt. Have your hair and make-up done for your first number.
Sign In: When you first get there find your class seated on the gym floor for sign in, stretching and instructions. Points will be deducted every minute that you are late.
Sign out:Failure to stay for roll call sign out after clean up and after show will result in zeroes.
Class Spring Show Costumes
1st Period:Midnight, black jazz shoes, button up tropical shirt, yellow tank top, hair flower and tights. Your hair is to be in a HIGH pony tail and parted on the left. NO bangs or WHISPIES. Make sure you understand that you are responsible for bringing and putting back your surf board.
2nd Period:Pink custom designed t-shirt with a long black cami- spaghetti strap shirt underneath, your choice of SOLID black jazz pant, capri or shorts, tights to match your skin tone and black jazz shoes. Hair is mid-pony and parted on the left. No fly away hair or bangs. Pin every piece back. You MAY NOT take ANY poms home with you.
3rd Period:Midnight with your red sequence belt, wrist cuffs and chocker. You must check all pieces of your costume in before you may leave. Your hair is in a bun in the middle of your head with a left part. NO bangs or WHISPIES. You MAY NOT take ANY costuming home with you.
4th Period:Midnight, black jazz shoes, tights, tie die shirt, gold socks. Your hair is in HIGH PIGGY TAILS with ribbon to match. No fly away hair or bangs. Pin every piece back. You MAY NOT take ANY costuming home with you.
ALL CLASSES:Remember – NO JEWELRY, NO FINGERNAIL POLISH except WHITE FRENCH TIPS OR CLEAR. NO WHOLES IN YOUR TIGHTS OR JASS SHOES. NO GUM. Wear FALSE EYELASHES. No fly away hair or bangs. Pin every piece back. If you are out of costume you WILL NOT PERFORM.
IN ADDITION, remember youmust sign in and out with their classes at designated times to receive full credit without any penalties. NO ONE is permitted to leave until you are signed out and have stayed to help with clean up. In addition, you must check all pieces of your costume, equipment and prop in before you leave.
You have ALL been working so hard; moreover, I am really excited about watching you performances. I know you will be AWESOME!! Just remember all of your clean-ups and smile. Draw the audience in and have a great time. Dance like NO BODY is WATCHING and you will do FABULOUSE!
