Ethos Statements
Our school, our Federation provides a place that opens up the world and takes us on a learning journey to discover and challenge our thinking. When we leave Bramham we want to be curious, enthusiastic able to do things on our own. In school we take responsibility for our actions and know we are part of a school family. To help us be even better we agreed that it would be a good idea to write ethos statements that we could follow each week –children and adults. These ethos statements can be about key values such as,
sharing
respect
listening
friendship
determination
perseverance
Tia thought of one………….To share a smile is to be kind, to be kind is to share a smile.
Others could be ……..A mountain can be difficult to climb but the view from the top is worth it. Be courageous and stick with it. OR Think, concentrate and try your best
Can you please write your ethos statement on a post it and then we can display them each week around both Bramham and Shadwell Schools. We think having these displayed around school will promote a safe and caring atmosphere of teamwork, support and cooperation, help us to make decisions about how to behave and given us principles that guide our lives.
Thank you.
- The Great Outdoors
Maddy, Andrew and Jillian will arrange to meet Mr Cornelius for an update on our outdoor classroom and to ask if this would include an Canopy shelter in our quiet area.
