THREE BOYS APPREHENDED FOR AUTOLIFTING

INTRODUCTION:

The staff of PS Maurya Enclave, North West District have arrested one Vikash Bhatt and apprehended two juveniles for lifting scooters. From their possession, two scooters have been recovered.

INCIDENT:

In view of increasing motor vehicle thefts in the area of PS Maurya Enclave, staff was briefed to do intensive vehicle checking. On 7.2.13 during vehicle checking, SI Rajpal and Ct. Ram Chander apprehended two juveniles alongwith a stolen scooter from Gopal Mandi, Pitam Pura. Both the boys were students of of 11th class and had stolen the scooter of another student of their school. At their instance, another student Vikas Bhatt (aged 19 years) s/o Geet Ram Bhatt r/o 277, Type-II, Income Tax Colony, Pitam Pura, Delhi was also arrested and another scooter stolen from Shalimar Bagh area was recovered from his possession. Vikas is also a student of 11th class of a reputed school of Pitam Pura area.

ONE PERSON INVOLVED IN TRAFFICKING OF HEROIN ARRESTED.

300 Gms OF FINE QUALITY HEROIN SEIZED.

PRICE OF SEIZED HEROIN IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET IS APPROXIMATELY Rs. 30 Lakhs.

A team of officers of the Crime Branch led by Inspr. Vivek Pathak consisting ofSI Satyawan, HC Narender, HC Om Parkash and Ct. Satpal under the supervision of ACP Narcotics Sh. Zile Singh and overall supervision of Sh. Bhisham Singh Addl. DCP /Crime apprehended one person involved in trafficking of drugs and recovered 300 Gms of fine quality Heroin. The Heroin recovered is worth Rs. 30 Lakhs (approximately) in the International Market.

An information was received on 7/02/2012 by SI Satyawan that a person namely Ghanshyam @ Dhoni who used to supply Heroin in the areas in and around Sadar Bazar jhuggies, would come near Sindhi Hotel, Qutub Road, Sadar Bazar, Delhi between 9.15 P.M. to 9.45 P.M. to deliver a consignment of Heroin to one of his contacts. A trap was laid near Sindhi Hotel, Qutub Road, Sadar Bazar, Delhi and one person namely Ghanshyam @ Dhoni was apprehended at 9.25 A.M. having 300 Gms of fine quality Heroin in his possession. A case vide FIR No. 20/13 dated 8.02.2013 U/s 21 of NDPS Act has been registered at PS Crime Branch.

Ghanshyam @ Dhoni S/o Sh. Domi Sharma R/o Jhuggi No. C-76 Jhuggi Colony, Sadar Bazzar Qutub Road, Delhi Age: 22 Years was subjected to intensive interrogation. During interrogation he has revealed as under:

Ghanshyam @ Dhoni is a 22 years young man. He is a permanent resident of Village and P.O. Sayedpur, P.S. Mansi, Distt. Khagaria, Bihar. Ghanshyam @ Dhoni has six brothers and two sisters. His father was a farmer. Ghanshyam @ Dhoni is illiterate. His father along with family came to Delhi in the year 1996 due to poor financial conditions and started living on footpath of Teliwara, Sadar Bazar. Initially his father along with his eldest brother worked as casual labourers. In 1998 Ghanshyam @ Dhoni started living in J.J. Priyadarshini Colony, Sadar Bazar with his family. His father started selling fish on footpath and eldest brother used to pull hand cart. The father of accused Ghanshyam left for his native place along with wife, two daughters and two sons in the year 2005. Presently Ghanshyam is staying with his two elder brothers. Ghanshyam @ Dhoni fell in bad company and become an addict and started consuming Ganja & later started selling Ganja in local area of Sadar Bazzar. He came in contact of one Rajeev who is also residing in the same locality and started selling heroine after procuring the same from Rajeev. The recovered contraband was also procured from Rajeev.

Pick Pocket of Metro arrested.

Four cases of Pick Pocket solved.

INCIDENT

On 06/02/13, ASI Ram Briksh, No. 1118/Crime, HC Maharaj Singh, No. 494/Crime Constables Ram Chander, No. 1397/Crime, Sohan Lal, No. 927/Crime, Virender, No. 68/crime led by Inspr. Bal Ram, D-3539 of Kalkaji Mandir Metro Police Station arrested one person namely Kamal Saifi s/o Sh. Mustakin Saifi r/o House of Suraj Building Material, Gali No. 101, K-II, Sangam Vihar, New Delhi, permanent r/o Idgah Mohalla, Vill. Sikarpur Barakhamba, PS Sikarpur, Distt. Bulandshehar (UP) from Platform No. 4, Central Secretariat Metro Station, when he attempted to pick a purse from the pocket of passenger. Accordingly a case vide FIR No. 11/13, dated 06/02/13 u/s 379/411 IPC PS Kalkaji Mandir Metro was registered.

PROFILEOF ACCUSED PERSON

The accused was born in Delhi. He along with his mother & elder brother has been residing at H. No. 101, K-II, Harizan Basti, Sangam Vihar, New Delhi. His father was driving a Blue Line bus who had expired 17 Years ago. His mother is a house wife and his brother is a driver of private vehicle. Due to his poor family condition he never went to the school. He started the sale of old/defective clothes on a Riksha in Sangam Vihar area at an early age and continued it for 3-4 Years. Thereafter, he did the job of a conductor in Vikram tempo and private Blue Line Buses of route No. 469. During this period he came in contact with professional pick-pockets Titoo, Bapi and Sonu Bengali of Govind Puri and started committing pick-pocketing in buses of route No. 469, Ambedkar Nagar to Anand Vihar. Now he has started indulging in pick-pocketing in Metro.

RECOVERY

A purse containing Rs. 160/-, Copy of DDA Identity Card, recovered from accused person and one cell phone make Samsung stolen in c/w a case of PS Kashmeri Gate Metro, was recovered at the instance of accused person.

TWO PERSONS INVOLVED IN TRAFFICKING OF HEROIN ARRESTED.

A team of officers of the Crime Branch led by Inspr. Vivek Pathak consisting of ASI Devender, HC Laxman, HC Bharat and HC Kanwal under the supervision of ACP Narcotics Sh. Zile Singh and overall supervision of Sh. Bhisham Singh, Addl. DCP, Crime Branch has apprehended two persons involved in trafficking of drugs and recovered 400gms of fine quality Heroin. The Heroin recovered is worth Rs. 40 lacs (Approximately) in the International Market.

An information was received on 08.02.2013 by ASI Devender that two persons namely Nahar Singh and Balu Singh both residents of Jhalawad, Rajasthan have been indulging in sale and supply of Heroin in the area of Delhi & they would be coming near red light, foot over bridge Palam Road towards Mahipalpur NH8, Delhi to deliver a consignment of Heroin to someone between 08:30 AM to 9:30 AM. A trap was laid around red light Palam NH8, Delhi where from two persons namely Nahar Singh S/o Sh. Ragu Singh R/o Village Sarvar P.S. and Tehsil Pidawa, Distt. Jhalawad, Rajasthan and Balu Singh S/o Sh. Nain Singh R/o Village Sarvar P.S. and Tehsil Pidawa, Distt. Jhalawad, Rajasthan were apprehended at 8:40 AM near foot over bridge at red light PalamRoad towards Mahipalpur NH8, Delhi and 300Gms of fine quality Heroin was recovered from possession of Nahar Singh and 100Gms of heroine was recovered from possession of Balu Singh. A case vide FIR No. 21/13 dated 08.02.2013 U/s 21/29 of NDPS Act has been registered at PS Crime Branch.

Nahar Singh S/o Sh. Ragu Singh R/o Village Sarvar P.S. and Tehsil Pidawa, Distt. Jhalawad, Rajasthan Age: 27 Years was subjected to intensive interrogation. During interrogation he has revealed as under:

Nahar Singh is a young man of 28 years. His father is a farmer. He is illiterate. Due to poor family background all siblings dropped out of the school. Nahar Singh is married and has two children. Nahar Singh is working on his ancestral agricultural land in his native village but he fell in bad company and became a drug addict. To meet the expenses of his addiction he started working for local drug traffickers. On 08.02.2013 he along with his associate Balu Singh had came to Delhi to deliver a consignment of 400Gms Heroin to his contact but was arrested. Nahar Singh procured the recovered contraband from one Narayan Singh of village Shemali Disst. Jhalawad

Balu Singh S/o Sh. Nain Singh R/o Village Sarvar P.S. and Tehsil Pidawa, Distt. Jhalawad, Rajasthan Age: 28 Years was subjected to intensive interrogation. During interrogation he has revealed as under:

Balu Singh is young man of 28 years. His father is a farmer. Balu Singh is illiterate. Balu Singh is married and having 2 daughters. Balu Singh has been working on his ancestral agricultural land in his native village but due to poor financial conditions, he started working for local drug traffickers. On 08.02.2013 he along with his associate Nahar Singh had came to Delhi to deliver a consignment of 400 Gms Heroin to a contact but both were arrested.

Further investigation of the case is in progress.

NOTORIOUS BAG LIFTER-CUM-AUTO LIFTER ARRESTED

The staff of PS Subhash Place, North West District has arrested one Laxman (aged 26 years), a bag lifter-cum-auto lifter of tyre puncture gang.

INTRODUCTION

Keeping in view the increasing incidents of bag lifting from the cars in the area of PS Subhash Place, a special team comprising of ASI Sushil Kumar, HC Suresh Kumar, Ct Baldev Raj and Ct Halwant under the supervision of Inspr. Pankaj Malik, SHO/Subhash Place was deployed on 7.2.13 near Britania Chowk in plain clothes to nab the bag lifters. During checking of vehicles, one suspicious looking person was intercepted and instruments used to puncture the vehicle tyre were found in his possession. On verifying, he was found riding a stolen motor cycle bearing No. DL-6SZ-7305, Bajaj Pulsar colour black. He came out to be one Laxman s/o Fakira r/o G-II/179, Madingir, Delhi. Accordingly, he was duly arrested.

INTERROGATION

During the course of investigation, it is found that Laxman used to steal bags from various places on the pretext of befooling people by saying that the car tyre is punctured and when people came out to see, he used to steal the bags from car and ran away. It revealed that the accused was arrested earlier also in case FIR No- 94/10 u/s 379/411 IPC PS Mourice Nagar, Delhi. He also disclosed his involvement with his associates namely Vijay s/o Ayayu and gang leader Rajni r/o H-1 Block, JJ Colony, Madangir, Delhi in case FIR No- 40/13 u/s 379 IPC & 54/13 u/s 379 IPC PS Subhash Place, Delhi. The recovered motor cycle was stolen from the jurisdiction of PS Adrash Nagar vide FIR No. 24/13 u/s 379/34 IPC PS Adarsh Nagar, Delhi. During interrogation, Laxman had admitted his involvement in following three cases:

1.Case FIR No- 24/13, U/s -379 IPC PS Adrash Nagar, Delhi.

2.Case FIR No- 40/13, U/s -379/34 IPC PS Subhash Place, Delhi.

3.Case FIR No- 54/13, U/s -379/34 IPC PS Subhash Place, Delhi.

Further investigation is on and efforts are being made to trace his associates.
