Boys’ Soccer Players

Open tryouts have resumed through Friday, 3:00 in the park. This is the final week.

Girls’ Soccer Tryouts

Continue through Friday, November 16th in the stadium from 2:30 – 4:30; bring running shoes, shin guards, cleats, water and appropriate soccer attire.

Team competition will be held today at lunch in room E-3. “Heisenberg” will face “Asian Persuasion Invasion” and the “No Names” will face the “3 Musketeers + G”.

The Writing Center is now open

Need help with your writing? Having troubles starting that essay? Stop by the writing center hosted by Mrs. Glusac’s Writing Majors. Various times are available: J-10 before school from 7:30- 8:00am and during lunch 12:15 -12:48pm, and in the library afterschool from 3-4:30pm. All students are welcome. Writing Majors may receive internship hours for attending. (Specific hours apply)

After-School Tutoring Available in the Library

The library is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00 -4:30 for studying or for group tutoring.

Outdoor School Camp Counselors

Junior and Seniors, remember outdoor school?? Interested in becoming a camp counselor? Now is your chance….applications are now available for the school districts upcoming outdoor education program. For more information and an application, please see Mrs. Sparks in the College/Career Center (D-2) today. Minimum GPA of 2.5 as well as school attendance are factors in the selection process.

Help wanted-Student Tutors!!!

The College/Career Center is currently accepting applications for student tutors. If you feel you are qualified to tutor in any subject…would like to work with students at the high school and/or Middle and Elementary school levels, please see Mrs. Sparks today for an application. A reminder for students who tutored last school year- if you wish to continue, you will need to update your application. Current rate-of-pay is $15.00/HR. We are experiencing a high volume of requests for tutors…don’t delay. Pick up your application today.
