Over thirty years in education ranging from K-6 teaching to higher education teaching, research, and administration. Scholarly agenda and expertise encompasses educator preparation, teacher education program development and policies,school-university partnerships, and field-based qualitative research design and methods. Administrative responsibilities have included directorship of educator preparation programs and field experiences, service as department associate chair, and coordination of statewide consortium of educator preparation programs. RECENT AND ONGOING LEADERSHIP POSITIONS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS

2015-PresentSelected to serve as member of New Hampshire’s State Leadership Team for the

Network to Transform Educator Preparation (NTEP), a nationwide network that

establishes partnershipsamong the New Hampshire Department of Education, the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO), and a set of national partners, peer states, and key stakeholders to redesign policies on educator preparation program approval, licensure, and data collection, analysis, and reporting.

2011-PresentFounding member and elected VicePresident of the New Hampshire Institutions of

Higher Education (IHE) Network, an unprecedentednonprofit consortium comprised of all the public and private higher education educator preparation programs in New Hampshire ( Currently co-coordinator of statewide development, piloting, and calibration of the NH Teacher Candidate Assessment of Performance (TCAP) and serving as Network liaison to the NH State Department of Education.

2011-2014Coordinated successful national accreditation process for the University of New

Hampshire Five-Year and Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Education Program with the

Teacher Education Accreditation Council (TEAC) and concurrently became one of the first programs in the country to receive national approval under the new standards of the Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Preparation (CAEP). The CAEP Inquiry Brief Commission subsequently selected our program to receive the Frank B. Murray Award for Innovation and Excellence in Program Self-Study, which recognizes excellence in inquiry into the performance of the program’s candidates and completers and in the capacity of the program’s quality control system to support programmatic improvement and excellence (presented at the 2015 AACTE Annual Conference in Atlanta, GA).
