This Weeks Learning:

In Maths Big Potters will be sequencing double digit numbers and little Potters will making and continuing repeating patterns.

In English we will be Reading part of ‘Toy Story’. Our focus will be on character dialogue, so we will be acting out scenes from the story and writing character dialogue in speech bubbles.

In History this week we have an exciting visitor joining us from Cranbrook Museum. We will be looking at and finding out about some of the old toys they have at the museum. Mrs Huxley will be showing us the ‘old’ toys and we will be discussing how they are different to our modern day toys.

During PE we will continue both Multi-skills and Write dance. The specialist teacher will be back in on Monday to deliver the multi-skills lesson which the children thoroughly enjoyed last week. Mrs Heath complimented the class on their good listening skills!

In Science we will be investigating what materials we should use to make a boat for the characters from Toy Story to escape in. (float or sink?!)

In DT this week we will be begin sewing our puppet templates together, wish us luck! (Big potters) Little Potters will be drawing around finger puppet templates, ready for cutting out.

In RE we will be learning about how Christians celebrate Christmas.

In Music we will be learning some of our Nativity songs and adding actions.

In PHSE we will be developing our listening skills, making sure we listen to our friends carefully.

In computing we will be making our own algorithms; instructing a robot (our partners) to make a sandwich.
