Our shul is pleased to be a co-sponsor of the community wide Motzei Shabbos Tanach Shiur hosted by YI Lawrence Cedarhurst. This week’s shiur will be given at 7pm by Rabbi Mordechai Sitorsky on Sefer Yescheskel, Perek Mem Hey.

FOOD PANTRY FOOD DRIVE

On behalf of the Shul, UJA, and most importantly the JCC Five Towns Kosher Food Pantry, We are going to be continuing our efforts on behalf of the Food Pantry for a whileThe pail is empty and waiting to get full again. When you come to shul this week and next week, please remember those less fortunate than you and please bring some items and place them in the pail located in the Shul lobby.

Dear Members

The Board of Directors has voted unanimously to recommend that the membership endorse the following resolutions:

Motion:That YIH begin immediate negotiations for the purchase of 36 Franklin Ave(Congregation Beth Emeth) andthat our current location 1 Piermont Avenue be placed on the market with the intention of selling the property as part of a purchase agreement for 36 Franklin Ave (Congregation Beth Emeth).

Motion: That YIH establishes a building fund with a $5,000 Five year ($1000 a year) commitment from each member/member family, contingent onthe membership’s final approval of the purchase agreement of 36 Franklin Ave.

Let it be known that the Board of Directors has voted unanimously to recommend these three resolutions to the membership
