Letter to the Congregation
HI ALL,
WELL I ‘M SURE WE WERE ALL SO THRILLED at the encouragement and love we received from Hope Community Church. It was simply wonderful and shows the beauty of the Body of Christ.
I have also been thrilled by the support for the 10 days of prayer. Those who have led sessions and all who have made the commitment to prayer...I say thank you. It has been a wonderful week. A big thank you to Linda Nelson White who has carried the load.
I hope by now you have realized this is not just my journey but our journey as we embrace the changes God wants to do in our hearts, families and the Church. Be open. In Isaiah 43 from verse 19 God says ‘See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.’ Though change is painful. Anything God does is good – so don’t resist. Embrace the changes and see them as opportunities from God. I am living in a defining moment in my life and we are living in a defining moment as a Church. Let’s make this moment count!

SUNDAY 11 NOVEMBER IS OUR LAST DAY FOR THIS EVENT. This evening service (6-8pm) will be A NIGHT OF CELEBRATION. You are invited to come and join us. We have had a great week with many contributing and bringing their personal flavour of ‘seeking and waiting on God’.

CHAPPY FETE!!!
This is a Townsville District SU Qld School Chaplaincy Fundraiser being held at Townsville Central State School, 16th November 2012 from 4pm-8pm. This will be a great event for the whole family and an easy way to support our local chaplains working in the schools across Townsville! See the information on the notice board. We’d love as many people to come along to have a great time and meet some of our school chaplains! All money raised will go straight into our local schools.
