  1. Condition:

This policy applies to all College of Medicine, KKUH and KAUH staff.

  1. Purpose:

This policy establishes the requirements for job descriptions to be prepared for each position and made available to each employee.

  1. Policy:

When a new staff members or employee is appointed or promoted, a clear standard job description form must be filled and signed.

  1. Procedure:

4.1.Upon appointment of all new staff members and employees, a copy of Job Description form must be handled to him/her by the Chairman of the Department.

4.2.Upon promotion of all new staff members and employees, a new Job Description form must be handles to the employee and his/her Chairman of the Department.

4.3.Standard Job Description for all positions are available in the Job Description manual in Human Resources Department on the quality website. Modification of these forms is possible according to special circumstances and with permission from the Human Resources and Quality Management Department.

4.4.After review and discussion, the employee has to sign on the job description form.

4.5.The Chairman of the Department is to sign on the Job Description form.

4.6.The evaluation of every employee must be based on his/her specified job description.

4.7.The original copy of the Job Description form is to be kept in the employees file in Human Resources Department.

4.8.A Copy of the Job Description is to be kept with Department and the employee.

4.9.The new employee will sign on orientation acknowledgement forms also that he/she has received job descriptions and been oriented to it.
