- New scholarships are available every day in the CCC. This week the spot light is on. The Junior Achievement Scholarshipthe deadline has been extended to March 31stand The FrankKleinman Scholarship. Both award over $1000 to deserving seniors. Seniors who will attend a 4 year college or university should come to the CCC for an application for these great scholarships.

- Seniors if you have not made your plan you need to come the CCC to complete and application for South Suburban College. It’s Fastand EASY to apply, and everyone qualifies. South Suburban has many programs for degrees and certificates that can get you from college to a career in the minimum amount of time. So come to the CCC to apply to South Suburban College today!

- There will be a workshop today after school in the CCC to get help completing the FAFSA and to work on scholarships. If you need a scholarship or want to get help with your F.A.F.S.A., come to the CCC after school today.
- Seniors Over 92% of you have made a Post-High School Plan. There are less than 60 seniors who need to come to the CCC as soon as possible to make a Plan. Remember every senior need a plan before Spring Break!
- Tomorrow is college gear day;don’t forget to wear your t-shirt or college gear.

- Alexander McMullen has been accepted toUniversity of IL Chicago with a $20,000 Scholar ship offer, and DepaulUniversity with a $46,000 scholarship offer.

Thursday

- Juniors many popular colleges will be visiting the CCC. Visit Thornton’s home web page and scroll down past the pictures to the college visit sign-up section. Here you may sign-up to attend the visit. Don’t forget to get a pass from Mrs. King to use on the day of the visit. All juniors are welcome to attend.

If you have college acceptance letters, information about your plans after graduation, and or scholarship award letters, please bring them to the CCC in room 211. You will receive a Special Lanyard for seniors with a Plan, and the new CCC t-shirt to wear on Thursdays.
