*Job Description: / A Denver-based asset management firm with approximately $2 billion under management has an internship opportunity available for the right candidate. Primary job responsibilities include the following: research and monitor hedge funds on a global basis, assist in portfolio development, research and monitor macroeconomic factors affecting global financial markets, assist in liaison with various financial institutions, and plan and execute assigned research and financial analysis projects. The candidate will be trained, supervised, and evaluated by Portfolio Managers and Investment Analysts.
*Qualifications: / Desired qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree, either in progress or completed (applicants with Master's Degree please do not apply), excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, critical thinking skills, strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and basic knowledge of financial and statistical concepts. Ideal candidates must demonstrate a willingness to learn and an ability to work independently.
