1. For many years I have been an active volunteer in the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA). I served on the planning committee for the Region I Spring meetings in 2013-2016 (AV team lead in 2014-2016), on the Region I Advisory Board in 2015-2016, and as Secretary-Elect in 2016. I was Selected for the Region I Executive Shadow Program in 2014, and I won an award for “Outstanding New Professional” in 2014 to recognize an early career individual’s outstanding achievement in research administration.
2. I have taught in Brigham and Women’s Hospital’s Certified Research Administrator (CRA) preparation program since 2014.
