Terms and Conditions

General conditions

The Employer agrees to:

1.  Support the learner in completing their programme, allowing reasonable time for learning and collection of evidence and providing any necessary, pre-agreed training/coaching/experience.

2.  Ensure that all participating learners attend all pre-arranged meetings.

3.  Ensure that learners complete and submit all work within the agreed timescale.

4.  Give accurate information regarding eligibility to benefit from funding by the Skills Funding Agency in respect of Apprenticeship programmes.

5.  Comply with legislation and the policies of Reed in Partnership, including:

·  Equality & Diversity Policy

·  Race Relations (Amended) Act 2003

·  The Sex Discrimination Act 1975 and 1986

·  The Disability Discrimination Act (Amended) 2004

·  The Human Rights Act 1998

·  Employment Equality (Sexual Orientation) and the Employment Equality (Religion or Belief) Regulations 2003

·  Health & Safety

·  Safeguarding Young People

6.  Agree to participate in Evaluation of Service (EoS) and Ofsted inspections as requested.

7.  Support and participate in the review and process of learning

Learners responsibilities:

8.  Respect our copyright on any course notes, computer files or other material supplied as part of the programme, and not to reproduce them without our specific permission.

9.  Respect other Learners, Reed in Partnership staff and its property when attending any of its centres.

10.  Attend all pre-arranged meetings with training and assessment staff.

11.  Complete and submit all work as agreed with the Assessor, within timescales.

12.  Inform the Assessor of sickness absence lasting longer than 3 days, same for any other absences and holidays, prior to taking them off, this to comply with funding regulations.

13.  Take all responsible steps to keep learning records safe.

14.  Agree to participate in Evaluation of Service (EoS) and Ofsted inspections as requested.

16.  While we intend to provide the specified trainer(s)/assessor(s) for the programme, we reserve the right to substitute alternative(s) with equivalent expertise should this be necessary.

Property

17. While every possible care is taken, we accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal or employer’s property brought onto our premises if applicable.

Cancellations / No Show fees

18.  If cancellation by either the employer or candidate within 24 hours of a assessor appointment date we reserve the right to charge you a cancellation fee of £50 to cover the cost of the assessor’s lost time, except in exceptional circumstances (for example, bereavement).

19.  If the assessor visits the workplace under a pre-arranged appointment and has not been notified of the absence of the candidate, the charge will be £50 plus travel expenses incurred.

20.  In the event of not being able to pay inform the assessor as soon as possible.
