Annual Business Meeting—Sunday, June 5, 12:00-1:00 pm

All members and friends of Bethany are encouraged to attend our congregational meeting to consider approval of the budget for fiscal year (FY) 2017. A light lunch will be available before the meeting. During the meeting, a special program is planned for all children, as well as nursery care for the little ones.

We will hold two informational meetings on Wednesday, June 1 and Thursday, June 2 from 7-8 pm in the Commons Room. A summary of the proposed budget will be available prior to these meetings. These meetings will be opportunities for us to discuss the budget in depth and detail.

Ridgewood Center Nursing Home Service, THIS AFTERNOON at 2 pm. A group from Bethany provides a worship service once a month featuring music and a message from God’s word. Interested? Call Ken MacLure at 471-6005 for more information.

CHIC is our triennial youth conference for Covenant students from all over North America and is a powerful week of discipleship, worship, and fellowship with 5000 teenagers!

Special Father’s Day Choir—Mothers, daughters (ages 12 and up) and women of Bethany, come join us for a special women’s choir anthem on Father’s Day. This is a short term, easy commitment! We will rehearse on Wednesday, June 8, 7:45 – 8:30 pm, and on Wednesday, June 15, 7-8:30 pm. These 2 rehearsals will be in preparation for singing on June 19 in the 9 am service. Looking forward to having you join us!

Next Sunday at Bethany: We will welcome of panel of six veterans to share with us on how their time in the military impacted their faith. All of our speakers are from our Bethany family and span from World War II through Afghanistan. In addition, our former pianist/organist, George Lopez, returns to first service next Sunday with several selections including the "Battle Hymn of the Republic."

Mission Opportunity

Are you called to serve as a volunteer for a day to the New England Seafarers in Boston. Great way for your family or small group to serve this mission.
