Option 2 – Touring Historic Europe
Your tour company is marketing a tour of “Key Historic Sites in Europe”. You will be selecting sites and create a travel brochure to promote the tour.
In designing your tour, you must meet the following requirements:
- For each decade from 1900-1999, select 2 historic sites. This should result in a total of 20 cities.
- Create a list of sites and explain your reasons for including each site. The explanation for each site should be a paragraph and focus on how what happened at the sight is important to European/World History. This is a key part of the project and should be organized chronologically.
- Create and itinerary for the tour. Obviously you want to minimize time traveling between sites (you do not have to travel to sites in chronological order)
- Create a travel brochure or poster illustrating at least 10 sites from your trip.
