Dear Families,
We are thrilled to be working with you and your child over the next school year! One of the most important aspects of ensuring a successful year is to make sure that the students have the materials and resources they need to learn to their full potential.
In 3rd Grade, we have a different method of collecting resources and school supplies. Instead of having an individual list of items to purchase for your child, we are asking each family to contribute one item, (perhaps in some cases several smaller items). These materials will be shared over the course of the school year.
Hopefully, this method is simple and easy for you. It will also ensure that all the students have the same materials to help them stay organized (i.e. all science composition books will be the same color). Think of it like a potluck picnic. Someone is in charge of bringing hotdogs, someone else brings buns, someone else napkins. And we all have a good time!
Each family may end up spending between $30-40. If you sign up for materials where the quantity is not specified try to spend within this range. If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email:

PLEASE EMAIL YOUR CHILD’S TEACHER, EITHER MR. TAJCHMAN OR MS. LUDWIG, AT THE ADDRESS ABOVE. You will then be invited to join the Shutterfly website, where you can choose and sign up (click on the VOLUNTEER heading) to purchase the items we will need for next year. Feel free to shop for the best bargains over the summer. Target often has very inexpensive folders, notebooks and markers beginning in July.
