INVASION!

The year is 1756, the Virginia Frontier is open for invasion. Native Warriors and their French Allies are moving freely throughout the frontier. Colonial Virginia Forces garrisoning forts along the frontier are in desperate need of supplies. Supply trains are moving out of Winchester and Alexandria under guard. Will they make it to their destinations without being molested by the enemy or will the garrisons fall due to the lack of supplies?

Rutherford Rangers is proud to invite you to participate in the second annual “Invasion of the Valley of Virginia” tactical, which commemorates atime in history Col. Washington called the “Indian Outrages.” This tactical will be for participants only, the public is not invited. The tactical will be held on 757 acres of heavily wooded land along the historic Pack Horse Road. The Pack Horse Road was used by settlers, soldiers and others to move through the area to points West and South. This area of Berkeley County, WV saw many Indian raids during this period of colonial history.

The plan is to have a free flowing engagement where anything could happen at any time. Our goal is to make this tactical as real as possible. We are planning on having an actual mule train with mule skinners bringing supplies to the colonial forces.
