The Writing is on the Wall

The Writing is on the Wall is a Wyndham City Council project funded by the Victorian Government’s Community Crime Prevention Program to help prevent graffiti in Wyndham. Council has commissioned the creation of a mural by a professional artist on the external wall of Vincent’s Pizza, Vincent’s Crescent in Werribee. It is anticipated that the artist will start work on the mural on Monday, 12 December 2016.

Council wants to offer a Wyndham primary school student an opportunity for his or her artwork to be incorporated into the mural. The community will vote for their favourite artwork from a shortlist determined by Council’s Graffiti Management Team and the owner of Vincent’s Pizza.

If you want to help prevent graffiti in Wyndham AND score a prize for you and your school, submit your artwork on an A4 piece of paper and send by mail (or in person) addressed to: Graffiti Team Leader, Wyndham City Council, PO Box 197, Werribee, 3030 by Wednesday, 23 November 2016. You will need to enclose a completed and signed submission form with your artwork and ask your parent or guardian to sign it on your behalf.

As well as your artwork being incorporated into the mural, you could score an iPad Air 16GB or a PlayStation 4 with a game and Blu-Ray DVD PLUS a $500 voucher from Officeworks for your primary school!
