UNIT: Mental Arithmetic Revision
Mental Test: Each student is given an answer sheet on which to write the answers. This answer sheet has information on it that could be useful in completing the questions.
Each question is read twice and then given a precise amount of time (5, 10 or 15 seconds) in which to answer the question.

Tiers of entry:
NC Levels 3 – 5 Targeting Level 4
NC Levels 4 – 6 Targeting Level 5
NC Levels 5 – 7 Targeting Level 6
NC Levels 6 – 8 Targeting Level 7
Mental tests: There are just two levels:
Lower (levels 3 – 5) for those sitting the Level 3-5 papers.
Higher (levels 4 – 8) for all the rest (students sitting the 4-6 paper can expect some difficult questions at both L7 & L8).
